Marina Goodman is the Human Resources (HR) Business Leader of Cybalt. She has more than 15 years of diverse HR experience including HR management, employee relations, talent management, strategic development, business process improvement and leave administration. Specifically, Marina specializes in the areas of employee relations, human resources administration, and employee recruitment and retention.
Marina began her human resources career in the hospitality industry at the Rolling Rock Club in Ligonier, PA where she was an HR Generalist for three years. During her tenure, Marina was responsible for human resources activities such as recruitment and onboarding, benefits and open enrollment and employee relations.
Marina subsequently went on to work for a non-profit healthcare organization, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where she spent several years in a multitude of progressive human resources positions. During her time with UPMC as an HR Leader for the organization, Marina served as an advisor to senior leadership on business decisions in addition to planning and implementing new recruit onboarding, addressing and resolving employee relations concerns, training members of the HR team and performing and overseeing all other HR activities within her scope of responsibility.
Marina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Vincent College and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Walden University. In addition, Marina has earned a certificate from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Certified Professional (CP). Marina is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
